Woolgoolga Driver Too Drunk to Find License; Blows Mid Range

A man has been charged with Mid Range Drink Driving after Police became suspicious of the vehicle in Stanner Close.

Police from Woolgoolga were patrolling the area in Woolgoolga around 8pm on Wednesday night when they became suspicious of a vehicle at the end of the cul-de-sac.

It is alleged that the driver, a 50 year old man, was heavily intoxicated.  When asked to produce his driver license he was unable to remember where it was.

The man failed a roadside breath test and was taken to Woolgoolga Police Station where he underwent a breath analysis returning a reading of 0.136.

The man has been charged with driving mid range PCA, and had his license suspended on the spot. He will face court at a later date.
