A cosmetic procedure in a Sydney beauty salon has left one woman fighting for life, and another facing serious charges.
Emergency services were called about 3.30pm yesterday to a beauty clinic on Carlton Street in Chippendale, following reports of a medical episode. Paramedics found a 35 year old woman, who was in cardiac arrest.
She was rushed to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, she remains in a critical condition.
Detectives investigating have now charged a 33 year old woman with reckless grievous bodily harm, and use poison etc so as to endanger life.
She was refused bail and will appear in Court today as inquiries continue.
