With NRL clubs forking out hundreds of thousands of precious salary cap dollars getting coaches off contract it’s little wonder that the Broncos model for the employment of Kevin Walters could be the way forward.
Speaking on The Big Breakfast ahead of the Broncos return to pre-season training at Red Hill host and Broncos tragic Greg Martin described to listeners the new deal that will see the coach Kevin Walters placed on a performance-based employment agreement and it could be the way of the future for other teams.
“it cost the Broncos $2M to get rid of Bennett and Seibold” Marto bemoaned.
“The NRL gives each club $14M or something a year and they’re just pissing it up getting rid of these coaches”
