The Offsprings’ Dexter Holland has taken to the band’s official Facebook to announce his becoming a Doctor.
The punk singer had put his studies on hold due to tour commitments but has decided to continue with studies and touring, juggling the two.
Dr Dexter took up the PhD as he wants to cure disease such as AIDS/HIV saying;
“My research is not meant to be a cure or even an immediate step toward a cure, but I believe that by adding to the vast amount of information that we’ve learned about HIV in the last 30 years or so, we’ll get there”.
