In our Oztober lunch hour, Gleeso caught up with Amy & George from Sheppard to talk about everything the band has been up to since their formation 10 years ago, from performing with The Roots on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' to touring Australia with Keith Urban.
Amy revealed that their international success all started with a TAFE music assignment back in 2009.
I was studying music and I had to write and produce an EP. I got George to sing harmonies on my track, and he had a bunch of other ideas and we just worked really well together.- Amy Sheppard
The pair also revealed that Robbie Williams approached them after an Adelaide show to organise a writing session, for which Sheppard planned an entire US trip around. Unfortunately, the session didn't quite work out the way they'd hoped...
