Western Bulldogs captain Robert Murphy has been scheduled for an arthroscope on his knee, according to Triple M Footy’s Mark Stevens.

Murphy had already injured his hamstring on Saturday against St Kilda and, coupled with the knee ‘clean up’, will be sidelined for about a month.

The Bulldogs have the bye this week so Murphy will probably miss around three matches.

The veteran defender, who turns 35 next week, has only missed one game so far this year and has been a valuable contributor for the Dogs averaging 22 disposals.
