Scott Lycett is officially a Port Adelaide player after West Coast elected not to match the offer the made to the ruckman.

Port offered Lycett a deal on Saturday that he accepted, which West Coast chose not to match prior to today’s 1pm deadline.

West Coast have been awarded a compensation pick immediately after the last selection of the first round — currently pick 20.

Tom Browne says that Melbourne are more keen for Jesse Hogan to go than Freo are to pick him up.
