Iconic Toowoomba company Weis is soon to be in the hands of foreign owners.
The family owned company has sold the business to international food giant Unilever for an undisclosed fee.
Weis first started in 1957 by Les and Val Weis. The local iconic ice cream is now sold Australia wide.
The acquisition remains subject to customary closing conditions.
