Gary Rohan has had as hard a couple of weeks as anyone could ever have.

He lost one of his twins shortly after birth last week, and as a result missed the Swans’ win over the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium.

In a mark of respect, the Swans players wore black and white arm bands to show their love for Rohan and his family.

This week he made his return to the team against Adelaide at the SCG, and while it hasn’t all gone to plan for Sydney so far, they were quick to get around him when he kicked a goal midway through the third term.

The fans also gave him a standing ovation to show their love.

Watch it here:

The Swans trail 8.9 (57) to 9.12 (66) at three quarter time.
