The owners of the building housing Coles and Kmart have lodged plans with the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder for a multi Million dollar external redevelopment. Councillors will be voting on the item as part of this coming Monday`s Ordinary Council Meeting.
The area of redevelopment includes both Car parks, landscaping and also the major areas where there has been loitering that has occurred. The new design opens up and brings in natural light to an area, that under the current design is impeded. The building has been in place since the 70's and this is the first major works to happen externally since 1986. See the impressions below.
