Two Debutants Named In Australia's Test XI To Take On Sri Lanka

Kurtis Patterson and Jhye Richardson will make their Test debut in Brisbane.

Both have been named to take on Sri Lanka in the first Test at the Gabba.

Patterson has bolted into the side after a pair of centuries in the Cricket Australia XI tour game against Sri Lanka, while Richardson has nudged out Peter Siddle to fill the void left by the injured Josh Hazlewood.

Joe Burns will open the batting, while Matt Renshaw and Will Pucovski have missed the cut.
