While there were concerns earlier today that Cameron Smith could miss the rest of the regular season due to a pectoral injury, it's been reported by Triple M and the Australian's Brent Read that there have been developments in this story.
Speaking from the sideline of the Tigers v Eels clash, Ready said that the prognosis was very positive.
"Some good news for Melbourne," Smith said.
"They expect him to maybe miss one game. That would be the worst case scenario.
"He may even play next week with that pec injury. So a good result for Melbourne."
