The Lockyer Valley is on a total fire ban with the temperature set to hit a whopping 39 degrees today.
Lockyer Valley is just one of a number of council areas across Southern Queensland placed on the ban.
QFES issued the advice for the area with the 'total fire ban' starting from today to remain in place until Sunday morning due to fire conditions and the weather forecasts issued by the Bureau of Meteorology.
