The Weather Report For The China Game Is In And It’s Not Good

Perfect conditions for footy...

7 May 2017

The weather report for next week’s Gold Coast v Port Adelaide game in China has come through, and it’s not pleasant for the Suns or Power.

Shanghai is set to be set sweltering at around 31 degrees, and a severe sandstorm that’s been gripping the nation is set to increase air pollution around the city.

Mark Stevens delivered the news about the tough Chinese conditions on Channel 7 today:

The dust storm that has been hanging around northern China is expected to hit Shanghai on Friday afternoon, according to the South China Morning Post.

The sandstorm — which has covered 1.6 million square kilometres — has caused over 50 flights Beijing flights to be cancelled or delayed.

Environmental and weather authorities have urged residents keep windows closed, wear face masks and minimise outdoor activities.

So perfect conditions for footy then.
