In good news for the Titans fans, the Jarryd Hayne contract saga should be all wrapped up in the coming weeks.
According to the 7th Tackle, Hayne has a $1.2 million option in his current deal with the club, which he can exercise to stay in the Gold Coast in 2018.
However, it must be exercised by April, which will eliminate a season's worth of questions about Hayne's future at the club.
If he decides not to pursue this option, he's free to go at the end of the year.
