The countdown is on until Phase 1 of the Yambil Street redevelopment is completed and the south side and median parking area is opened to traffic!
Set to conclude by the end of the month, we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, and (in our heads at least) it looks like this -
Griffith Mayor, Cr John Dal Broi said he was pleased to see the progress being made, adding:
“This was always going to be a big undertaking and again, I’d like to thank everyone for their patience. Council will continue to provide updates as work in Yambil Street progresses."
Residents are advised that the partial road closure of Kooyoo Street between Yambil and Canal Streets will remain in place until mid-March when drainage work will be completed and the street reopened.
