The Central Coast Is Gathering In Umina To 'Save Our Beach' This Weekend!

Bucket & Spade In Hand

13 March 2018

Our beaches are a huge part of why the Central Coast is so iconic. But due to king tides and rampant weather, they aren't in such a good state...

The people of the Central Coast are fed up with the Council continuously pushing back the dredging and renourishment of our beach. Therefore, there will be the ‘Save our Beach – bring a bucket & spade” event at Ocean Beach Surf Club this Saturday the 17th March from 9am.

The goal is to come together as a community to help repair our beloved beach, and show the council that the community is NOT happy.

Roy Lamb Sand & Soil have offered their 6 ton truck full of sand for the people of the coast to work together and take a bucket of sand down to the beach to rebuild the dunes.

What: Save Our Beach - Bring A Bucket & Spade

When: Saturday March 17th - 9AM

Where: Ocean Beach Surf Club - Trafalgar Ave, Umina Beach
