Sydney have traded Nic Newman to Carlton in exchange for a future fourth-round pick.
Newman played 31 games and kicked eight goals in four seasons with the Swans after being taken in the 2015 rookie draft.
Newman joins Mitch McGovern (Adelaide), Alex Fasolo (Collingwood) and Will Setterfield (GWS) as Blues recruits in this post-season.
Sydney have now lost Dan Hannebery (St Kilda), Gary Rohan (Geelong) and Newman since the end of the season.
