A section of Ann Street in Brisbane's CBD has been closed off as police investigate a suspicious package found on the footpath.
Officers blocked the road between Edward and Albert Streets just before 10am, with the bomb squad now on scene.
Police are advising pedestrians and motorists to avoid the area.
