A Surfers Paradise nail salon has gone up in flames overnight.
Three fire crews raced to the Orchid Avenue business shortly before 2am on Monday, after reports of a commercial property on fire.
They arrived to find smoke pouring from the ground floor of a building, and managed to extinguish the flames quickly, but said half the store had already been damaged.
Paramedics were also on scene as a precaution.
Fire investigators were due to head back to the scene later on Monday to investigate the cause.
