Supercar Fords Finally Roll Out

Out of the Shell

21 February 2017

There hasn't been much for Ford fans to get excited about this Supercar off-season... that is, until now.

Dick Johnson Racing-Team Penske have just pulled the covers off their 2017 Ford Falcons at Melbourne's Etihad Stadium.

Big things are tipped for joint American-Australian operation in its third full season of an alliance with the Penske motorsport empire.

This year sees a return to full Shell backing after a number of season featuring rotating sponsors and liveries.

On hand for today's big reveal were ex-Volvo star Scott McLaughlin who'll pilot the #17, and #12 driver Fabian Coulthard.

The Kiwi compatriots are expected to enjoy plenty of support across the Tasman as they aim to take the fight to Holden this season.

The new Shell V-Power Racing Falcons will hit the grid for the first time at next month's Clipsal 500 in Adelaide.
