In Steve Smith's first game as captain of the Rising Pune Supergiant, he has absolutely delivered.
The Aussie skipper, who dominated with the bat in the Test tour of India, scored a match-winning 84 not out off 54 balls.
But it was the way he did it that was really impressive.
With his side requiring 10 runs off the last 3 balls, Smith has smashed two consecutive sixes to drag his side over the line.
“He’s probably the best batsman in the world,” Mumbai opener Jos Buttler said of Smith after the match.
