Almost half of Southern Downs businesses are having difficulties in paying their power bills.
The information was revealed after a recent survey was conducted by the Queensland Electricity Users Network.
QEUN took a look at 741 businesses across the region – just one area of four in Queensland surveyed over the impact power prices are having.
Sadly, the high price of electricity is leading to businesses having to make sacrifices, these include cutting jobs so businesses are able to afford to pay the increasingly high cost of electricity.
