Australia are set to host soccer titans Brazil in a friendly in June, according to reports out of Brazil.

Brazilian newspaper Folha is reporting that Brazil will play two friendlies out here in the lead up to the Confederations Cup.

An MCG date with Argentina has long been reported, but a game against Australia is apparently in the works too.

It would be a good tune-up for the Confederations Cup for the Socceroos, with the tournament running from June 17 to July 2 next year in Russia.

Neither Brazil or Argentina qualified for the tournament, with Chile representing South America.

Earlier this month it was reported that Brazil would play Argentina at the MCG next June.
