Toowoomba may get cold enough this year for locals to experience a white winter.
While it is predicted that Granite Belt will see snow it has been reported that it may fall as far as Warwick and Toowoomba.
Hydrologist Dave Taylor said that we are moving towards a la nina, which is a period of increased rain, and he predicts it is going to be colder than we have ever seen in modern history.
