Small Quake Hits Hunter Valley

It struck early Sunday morning

A small tremor has hit the Hunter Valley.

The quake may have only had a magnitude of 2.7, however residents say they still felt it.

Geoscience Australia says it struck just south of Muswellbrook at 1:19am Sunday morning, at a depth of 5km.

Several people in the Muswellbrook area have taken to Facebook saying the quake woke them up, while others say it shook their house.
