Batsman Shaun Marsh has withdrawn from today's first ODI against South Africa.
He will undergo surgery on a minor abscess in his buttock region today.
Cricket Australia is hopeful he'll be available for the second ODI against South Africa in Adelaide.
He's been replaced in the side by D'Arcy Short.
