Melbourne midfielder Angus Brayshaw has suffered another concussion in the VFL, throwing his immediate future in doubt.
Brayshaw was playing for Melbourne’s affiliate, Casey, and copped a head knock before half time.
He couldn’t come out and play after the injury.
Brayshaw was concussed twice in three weeks playing VFL last year, and missed a swathe of the season due to it.
Concussion has become a hot topic in the AFL recently, with clubs and the AFL bringing in protocols to deal with it during matches.
Melbourne will assess Brayshaw in the coming days.
