Manly is about to be given mid-season boost, with Tom Trbojevic set to be named in an extended side to take on Newcastle this Friday, reports http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au.
The superstar fullback, who injured his knee and ankle in a controversial tackle against Brisbane last month, was originally scheduled to return in round 18 against Penrith.
However that has now been revised, allowing him the chance to play a couple of games before NSW name their team for the second State of Origin in Sydney.
Manly are on a roll at the moment, but the win over Canberra did come at a cost with winger Jorge Taufua ruled out for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
