Collingwood skipper Scott Pendlebury has been withdrawn from this afternoon's game against Geelong.
Pendlebury injured his ankle last week against Brisbane at the Gabba and failed to finish the game.
The Pies coaching staff gave Pendlebury every opportunity to prove his fitness but he wasn't able to pull through.
Pendlebury will be replaced in the side by forward Ben Crocker.
