Collingwood pulled off one of their best wins in some time tonight, putting last year’s grand finalists Adelaide to the sword at Adelaide Oval.

The win was a galvanising one for the Pies, who were missing several players but dominated the Crows from the first bounce to win 16.10 (106) to 9.4 (58).

After the game, skipper Scott Pendlebury got the staff together with the playing group to jump into the circle to perform a rousing rendition of the club song.

Watch it here:

Brodie Grundy was best on ground for the Pies, with his 40 hitouts, 33 touches, 12 clearances and a goal only challenged by Steele Sidebottom’s 43 touch, 12 clearance game.

The Pies’ next assignment is the Anzac Day match against Essendon at the MCG.
