News just in, Scorpions will not perform with Def Leppard in Melbourne tonight.
The German rock band have pulled out of the Melbourne show at Rod Laver Arena show due to illness.
In a press release Scorpions lead singer and co-founder Klaus Meine said:
“We came a long way to finally Rock Australia for the very first time (except for Melbourne)…
Together with our Friends Def Leppard we have had a fantastic Run so far and it breaks my Heart to let you Know that I can’t sing tonight at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne…
The Doc has recommended that I rest my Voice until Sydney and I Cross my Fingers that it all works out”.
Def Leppard will still performed as planned.
In a statement from Scorpions via Live Nation they are replacing the German rock band with “a replacement support band or a rock DJ”.
