The NRL Match Review Committee has charged Ryan James from the Titans for a trip in the clash with the Dragons on Friday night.
The incident occurred in the 50th minute, with Joel Thompson the victim of the misconduct.
With an early guilty plea, James would be hit with a $1350 fine.
If he challenges and fails to overturn the charge, this increases to $1800.
