Robert Whittaker is now the Undisputed UFC Middleweight Champion of the world after now-former champion Georges St-Pierre decided to vacate the title due to illness.
The UFC revealed Whittaker will defend his title in the main event of UFC 221 in Perth against former champion Luke Rockhold.
Whittaker currently on a seven-fight win streak creates history by becoming Australia's first ever UFC World Champion.
The Sydney-local will create more history competing in Perth's first ever Mixed Martial Arts event when the UFC head to WA on February 11.
