After declaring he was in for the fight of his political life, federal member for Pearce Christian Porter has come through on the other side by winning the seat of Pearce for a third term.
The urban/rural seat was one to watch at the recent election with Porter improving his margin by 3 percent.
He spoke to Triple M about local plans for the next term in parliament.
