$20,000 is all that stands in the way of Corey Norman officially ending his tenure with the Parramatta Eels.
According to a report from Fairfax Media, the Eels are only willing to contribute $250,000 of Norman's monster $900,000+ 2019 salary.
However, Norman wants the Eels to add an extra $20,000 to the price as the Dragons can only afford to pay the Queenslander around $500,000 in 2019.
With Gareth Widdop expected to return to England in 2020, the Dragons will have more space in the salary cap in the future to better accommodate Norman.
