Australian Actress Rebel Wilson has been awarded more four and a half million in damages.
Wilson sued Bauer media over a series of defamatory articles in published in Woman’s Day, Australian Women’s Weekly, New Weekly and OK!
The judge awarded her $4567000 in damages today in Melbourne.
The articles unfairly claimed she was a liar who had lied about her age.
She’s vowed to donate any money received to her charity.
“Any $’s (sic) I receive will go to charity, scholarships or invested into the Aussie film industry to provide jobs,” she tweeted after the jury returned their verdict.
“I take being a role model very seriously x.”
