A team of Queensland researchers say they’ve discovered a cure for COVID-19 and hope to have patients enrolled in a nationwide trial by the end of the month.
University of Queensland Professor and director of Clinical Research, David Paterson told Triple M's Bridge & Spida that they have discovered two drugs previously designed for other conditions that can also be used to attack COVID - 19.
Prof Paterson explains the makeup of the drug and discusses the likelihood of being able to release the trial in the near future, on a national scale. Take a listen:
