Queens of the Stone Age continued their Australian tour in Sydney on Friday night. We sent along Triple M's Becko to check it out!
Queens of the Stone Age have always loved Australia.
And Aussie fans love them for it.
As frontman Josh Homme puts it, it's a "home away from home” for the band.
They proved exactly why Australia has been so great to them at their first of two Sydney shows at the historic Hordern Pavilion.
It was Australian fans' first chance to hear songs from last year's Villains, and they went down a treat.
In particular, “Head like a Haunted House” and “The Way You Used to Do” both got huge reactions from loyal fans, who have had close to a year to learn the lyrics to the songs, and they had clearly made use of the time.
It was a mix of old and new songs, with the songs from Villains slipping seamlessly into the setlist.
Don’t miss the rest of the Aussie tour, it’s rock as it’s meant to be!
