More detail has been released about the route that the Queen’s Baton will take when it arrives in the Riverina early next year, ahead of the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
The baton relay will stop in Wagga’s Bolton Park on January 28 at around 10am for a community celebration, before heading to Narrandera for another event at the sports ground at around 1.30pm, and to the Community Gardens in Griffith for a 5.30 event.
The following day the relay will make it’s way to McCann Park in West Wyalong, before continuing up through the Central West on its way to Queensland.
