Rain and storms overnight has caused power outages for customers across the Esperance region.
The city picked up 11mm of rain between 5pm yesterday and 6am today, but it's the lightning strikes that has forced the power out in the majority of the region.

Esperance has received nearly 140mm of rain in the month of February, the wettest February since records began in late 1969.
