Around 900 homes are without power in the Toormina area tonight. Crews from Essential Energy are investigating the cause of the outage which saw homes lose power just after 7pm. While it is unknown how long the outage will take to rectify, the Essential Energy website says it may not return at this stage until 9:30pm.
