Port Adelaide has released a statement on Jackson Trengove after he was involved in an altercation in an Adelaide bar over the weekend.
The statement is as follows:
Port Adelaide confirms Jackson Trengove was involved in an incident at approx. 12.30am yesterday outside a bar at Glenelg where he was struck in the face.
Trengove did not retaliate and left the scene immediately.
He was not seriously injured in the incident but has bruising around his left eye.
Based on all of the available information at hand the club is satisfied Trengove did not break any team rules and will be available for selection this weekend.
