Wagga Police have seized a substantial amount of property believed to have been stolen, leading to the arrest of a 35 year old man.
Officers spotted the man riding a mountain bike in Ashmont shortly after 3pm on Sunday.
It’s alleged he tried to evade police when they tried to pull him over, sparking a chase, with a number of vehicles responding.
He was eventually arrested on Cottee Street, the property police have seized includes tablets, jewellery and more than a dozen watches.
