Police Minister Troy Grant has met with Adelong Senior Constable Jason Maybury to discuss what's needed for the town's new $1 million police station.
Mr Grant says the current station has reached it's use-by date, and NSW Police are currently in the process of identifying a new location and purchasing the land.
The money for the final planning and development approvals for the new station has been allocated in the budget for this financial year.
