This Saturday the community will come together to discuss crime throughout the north.
Neighbourhood Watch Australasia and Neighbourhood Watch Queensland are delivering a Community Crime Prevention Information Day in Townsville tomorrow.
The main objective of the day is to provide information and increase awareness about crime prevention, security and personal safety for local residents and visitors, homes, businesses, vehicles and valuables.
The day will start at 9am at Rydges Southbank and will cover a variety of topics including:
Drugs in the community
Youth Crime
Knowing if you're a target for crime
Representatives from local Police, through to University lecturers will host the different sessions across the day.
