Police Arrest Man over Armed Robbery in Toowoomba

A man linked with an armed robbery in Toowoomba has been arrested by Police near Brisbane.

The man was arrested at a shopping centre in Woodridge earlier this week by the Special Emergency Response Team.

Officers allege the man was involved with a home invasion in Kearneys Spring while also assaulting a 44-year-old man before stealing his car.

The 32-year-old was due to front a Beenleigh magistrate yesterday on charges including armed robbery with violence, attempted armed robbery, grievous bodily harm, threatening violence, burglary and discharge of firearm and authority required to possess explosives.
