So, it's no secret that #Perth copped an absolute DRENCHING yesterday.

But just how much?

Let's just start with this. Perth, on average, receives around 10mm of rain each January.

Yesterday, Perth recorded 96 millimetres of rain since 9am.

The Big Breakfast with Clairsy, Matt and Kymba spoke with Channel 7's Sam Jolley about the deluge.

Of course, Murphy's Law again came into practice yesterday... Minutes after Clairsy, Matt and Kymba essentially called the Weather Bureau's bluff yesterday by asking where exactly the rain was, it bucketed down.

All day!
