Patrick Dangerfield says there doesn’t think there is “much” in the tackle that likely sees him under match review panel scrutiny.

Dangerfield tackled Carlton opponent Matthew Kreuzer to the ground on Saturday night, causing Kreuzer a concussion.

It has put his Brownlow Medal chances - in which he is a leading contender alongside Dustin Martin - under threat.

The Geelong star explained what he was doing with the tackle.

“I haven’t been cited for anything,” he said on Channel 7’s AFL Game Day.

“In my opinion, all I was doing was tackling, and I tried to roll the tackle so I didn’t give away a free kick for in the back.”

Dangerfield will face the MRP results on Monday.

“To be honest, I didn’t think there was much in it,” he said.
