As you can imagine, the stoush between David Warner and Quinton de Kock has been a godsend for puns.
Triple M Melbourne newsreader Joseph Ogilvie has taken full advantage, running several gags on de Kock’s surname in the news.
He first went on the 4pm bulletin:
“The opener denied rubbing de Kock up the wrong way”
He went again at 5pm:
“Dave Warner doesn’t reckon he’ll get a rise out of de Kock again”
And then on the last bulletin of the day at 6:
“Warner would have preferred de Kock gave him a spray to his face”
